Entree : Cold Seafood Platter; Fresh Oysters, Australian King Prawns, Prawn cutlets, Traditionally Italian marinated Sardines, Tuna Carpaccio and Blue Swimmer Crab complete with a Catalana blended Salsa and Lemon scented Olive Oil.

Main: Traditional in House Tagliatelle coated in Chef’s King Prawn and fresh tomato Ragu

Dessert Platter: Pardula, Nutella Cheesecake, Torta al limone, Cornetto di Pistacchio, Cannolo Siciliano.

MENU TWO: Tradizionale for 2 $95.00

Entree: Antipasto Unica; freshly sliced salumi, arancini, savory eggplant pastries, artisan cheeses, calabrese olives and in house baked bread.

Main: Freshly made in House Gnocchi, coated in our meaty Unica Ragu.

Dessert Platter: Pardula, Nutella Cheesecake, Torta al limone, Cornetto di Pistacchio, Cannolo Siciliano.

MENU THREE: Vegetarian for 2 $75.00

Entree: Our carefully constructed to Nonna Maria’s description layer upon layer of eggplant, napoli sauce, mozzarella and parmigiano all baked to perfection.

Main: Our hand made Gnocchi coated in our San Marzano Napoli Sauce.

Dessert Platter: Pardula, Nutella Cheesecake, Torta al limone, Cornetto di Pistacchio, Cannolo Siciliano.

FESTIVE SEASON MENUS

December has already come upon us… and what a huge year it has been. Thank you to so many of you for all of your support, messages and kindness. I never imagined embarking on the journey that I have this year…. and I am only understanding the enormity of it now in the months following. The absolute controversy that was caused by asking a question…. I never imagined that type of a reaction. It certainly demonstrated how heightened emotions were during our individual experiences dealing with Covid 19 and its individual effects on us. Unica has changed, evolved and moved with all of these changes into what has been directed as Covid normal.

In the spirit of the festive season and what my family traditional celebrates as Christmas, we have come up with a couple of yummy menus to delight your palette and share with your friends. Check out the menus, Instagram and Facebook for updates.

We are now a licensed venue so you can take your pick of favorite local wines, in house cocktails, grappa and Amaro’s from the south and heart of Calabria.

HOME DELIVERY DURING STAGE 4 LOCKDOWN

Hasn’t this been a rollercoaster of a year! The hospitality industry has taken an absolute belting. Personally, I have had to remodel, reshuffle, make changes and rethink absolutely everything to do with this little Unica dream.

To this end, I have become heavily involved in local political discussions and am even taking a crack at being preselected to run for the next State elections in the seat of Nepean for the Liberal Party.

There is so much happening at ground level, so much negative economic impact on every single industry. I really feel the need to be the voice of the Mornington Peninsula and to advocate for those of us who have grown up, lived, breathed and are truly living through this experience.

On top of all of that; we are now delivering meals express and non contact to your doors given our current Stage 4 Lockdown situation and the 5km rule on travel!

We are delivering consistently from Safety Beach through to Portsea….. lunches all the way to Flinders.

Our entire business model has changed so much in just 5 months, but these are the times.

We hope to continue to grow and change into whatever the future holds… and even in these crazy times - we are planning exciting things for the next 12 months! So keep on supporting us, we promise it will all be amazing!

Sit down Reopening 3rd June 2020

We are sooooo excited to announce our seated reopening on the evening of June 3rd 2020. It hasn’t been an easy couple of months….. It’s been absolutely hard. It’s been sad. It’s been at times, absolutely soul destroying.

This restaurant has now SEEN IT ALL…… and the latest joke now is that it has even seen the plague! Through it all we have kept our hearts strong and our heads high. I am so very looking forward to the next 12 months here. So many exciting things in the works waiting to unfold.

BUT - in the meantime……..

In line with initial reopening rules and regulations we shall be running 2 seatings during the week and Sunday and 3 on Saturday evenings.

The seating times for our mid week and Sunday evening sessions will be 5:30pm and 7:15pm. All evening sessions will run for a maximum of 1.5 hours to allow for all of our Unica community to enjoy a seated dining experience.

Saturday evening sessions will comprise of 5:00pm seating, 6:45pm seating and 8:30pm seating.

All dine in experiences will need to be prebooked with details of those attending the restaurant to be advised at the time of booking.

3 set menus will be available for you to choose from at the time of booking and you will be advised via email of the menus available. You will need to confirm your choice of menu prior to attending the restaurant.

We are navigating this new type of normal as best as we can, and we cannot wait to see you all.

Yes, we are still BYO; so bring along your favorite beer, wine or champagne. Our set menus are also available online in the menu section of our website.
